Our Story
Nursing Education Center LLC was not created from a business idea. It was born from a calling.Valencia McPherson White began her journey in education by teaching high school students in lower income communities across New York City. She worked closely with schools to help young individuals take their first steps into healthcare by earning their CNA and LPN certifications. For many of these students, this was more than education. It was opportunity. It was a pathway to stability, purpose, and a future they once thought was out of reach.
As her impact grew, Valencia transitioned into higher education, where she began teaching nursing students working toward becoming Registered Nurses. Her dedication to her students, her ability to connect with them, and her unwavering belief in their potential led her to become a tenured professor. With a double master’s degree and decades of experience, she has built a career grounded in both academic excellence and genuine care for those she teaches.
What truly defines Valencia is not just her credentials. It is her heart. She has spent countless late nights after long teaching days sitting beside students, guiding them through difficult material, helping them prepare for finals, and walking them step by step through NCLEX preparation. She has stood as an advocate for her students when they needed someone to believe in them. She has poured her time, her energy, and her knowledge into ensuring that no student felt alone in their journey.
Valencia understands what it means to struggle, to doubt yourself, and to need guidance. And because of that, she has made it her life’s mission to be the support system she knows so many students need. Nursing Education Center LLC is an extension of that mission. It exists to ensure that every aspiring nurse, regardless of background, has access to the tools, knowledge, and encouragement needed to succeed. It is built on compassion, dedication, and the belief that education can change lives.
